George is an accomplished, results-oriented productivity improvement professional with over 30 years of domestic and international experience in steel, chemicals, aerospace, and electronics industries. His background includes technical, managerial, and training experience in manufacturing, engineering, research & development, customer satisfaction, and transactional functions. He is a creative team builder who works well with others to meet stated goals and is known for achieving tangible, visual, and measurable results.
Most recently, George worked at Motorola as a Senior Learning Consultant and Master Black Belt where he managed the training curriculum for the Lean Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma engineering initiative within Motorola University. George has delivered Six Sigma classes to hundreds of Green and Black Belt candidates in North and South America, Asia, Europe, and Australia. He personally mentored over 100 successful belt candidates. In addition, he has certified over 50 instructors to deliver Motorola classes.
Prior to his role in Motorola University, George managed the world-wide Six Sigma program for a $4 billion Motorola business unit. During a four-year period, over 500 people, in virtually every function of the business, were trained and recognized as either Green Belts or Black Belts. The business unit achieved over $200 million dollars in savings through the projects that were completed by its belt candidates.

Prior to becoming involved full-time in Six Sigma activities, George had day-to-day quality leadership responsibilities in several Motorola business units. He used the Six Sigma approach in these daily activities. In one business unit, this resulted in less than a 2% five-year failure product failure rate and a 65% “top-box” customer satisfaction rating.
