Equipment Reliability Engineering(ERE)

Scope
Combination of Equipment Failure Analysis, Preventive
and Predictive Maintenance Activities to ensure that:-
-Structured and systematic equipment failure analysis to
minimize equipment downtime and maintain production
efficiency;
-Standardized maintenance schedule, processes, & activities
to prevent costly problems before they occur instead of
fixing them after the fact; and prevent recurring issues,
improving the consistency and reliability of the equipment
performance.
Course Objectives
At the completion of this course, you will be able
to:
-Identify factors related to equipment failures that and
approach to reduce the equipment downtime
-Apply equipment failure activities to minimize both chronic
and special causes to equipment downtime failures
-Standardized, scheduled maintenance activities for routine
cleaning, changing parts, inspections, etc., in order to
prevent failures before they occur
-Utilize advanced tools and techniques to identify equipment
components that will fail in the near future.
Course Agenda
Day 1
-Introduction: Understand factors related to equipment breakdown/failures
-Equipment Failures Analysis: Define and apply the approach in analysing equipment breakdown data and identify the
special and chronic causes related to the equipment failures.
Day 2
-Preventive Maintenance: Implement maintenance processes which periodically restores equipment deterioration
through the standardization of preventive maintenance activities.
-Predictive Maintenance: Apply the relevant tools, technique and predictive data analysis to predicted equipment
and its components life.
-Application of Lessons Learned: Participants Identify specific equipment performance and apply the principles and tools
learned.
