MU Sigma History
Principal at MU Sigma were actively involved from the very start of Six Sigma concepts – driving the focus on Reducing Variance in the first published article on Six Sigma (Solid State Technology, August, 1987)
Principals led the very first DFSS project (1989-1990), which won Motorola’s Gold Medal in Total Customer Satisfaction competition.
Recently, they literally wrote the book on applying Design for Six Sigma to high-tech products involving electronics and software.
From 2000 to 2010, the principals at MU Sigma co-developed Motorola’s Black Belt programs for Lean Six Sigma and for DFSS.
The principals at MU Sigma are seasoned executives and Master Black Belts with 85 years of combined experience. The team members are experts in Lean Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma, Leadership, and Change Management. They are recognized by quality professionals as leaders in the industry and serve on ISO sub-committees that develop standards for Quality and Statistics including Six Sigma.
They have taught and coached top notch Black Belts who have gone on to become Master Black Belts and successful executives at high tech companies such as Ericsson, Honeywell, Oracle, Intel, Raytheon, Motorola and General Dynamics.
